My name is Frank Lavallee. I live in Plant City, Florida.

My first experience with a home computer and the Windows 95 operating system did not begin until August 1997. I did not have any experienced computer friends to get me started and walk me through the rough spots. I was on my own.

My computer crashed several times during the first 5 months. I spent more time on the phone with technical support and more time getting programs reinstalled and settings properly configured than I care to remember.

I decided to learn about computers and how to operate Windows 95. I subscribed to and read several computer magazines. I browsed technical support web sites. I joined computer forums. I became what my wife refers to me as - a computer nerd.

I have since been able to pass on my knowledge to some of my friends and to assist them with some of the same pitfalls that I experienced.

I decided to go one step further - to start my own web site. As a result, this web site was born.
